Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1055T Processor (6 CPUs), ~2. ![]() Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 I read somewhere it doesnt work when you're just on your desktop, I read that you have to be in a fullscreen game that supports the amd software. ![]() Other possible reasons i may not be satisfied with the overlay. Someone suggested windows Aero be enabled for this feature to work, is that true because i disabled that for performance reasons, I also disabled themes and animations for windows, maybe this is also effecting it. Maybe I have some mouse software that has the same hotkeys already assigned, anyone wanna help me check/solve this? I've tried changing the hotkey for the overlay multiple times and nomatter what i set the hotkey as, when i press it the mouse simply toggles on and off. It doesn't seem to matter if the toggle is to on or off, it's just the action of toggling at all that appears to work. Most of the hotkeys do nothing for AMD Radeon features, instead they just toggle my mouse on and off. Adept I 10-23-2019 02:04 AM Update: I noticed that toggling Virtual Super Resolution in the driver settings fixes this, at least until the next restart. victories This Video Shows you the BEST AMD Settings for Warzone 2 To FPS Boost. the problem is present both on the desktop and in game (fullscreen but the game may not be supported) 0 Max Recoil TAQ V is Broken lol - Warzone 2 Best gamer juice here. My gaming PC, RX6700 XT GPU, the in-game overlay doesnt disable itself at all, it works as expected. This behavior only shows up on my AMD laptop, Ryzen 7 4700U, so Im guessing its a problem on systems with AMD iGPUs. My Adrenalin settings didn't reapply at boot, I followed some vid to change access rights on an AMD dll, since then it's working. The overlay will not start, I've tried messing with multiple setting in AMD Radeon Settings, I also tried changing the hotkey but no luck. In my case, after enabling the in-game overlay, it disables itself randomly a few minutes later. and so on, I use AMD so I know the pain, had to undervolt as well so I MUST have it installed and deal with it, but the less you tinker with the settings the better, if you can set a profile you like and leave it alone just do that. So expect random crashes where you're tuning something and the program simply disappears, some driver timeouts (can be fixed by altering the tdrdelay value), profiles simply not working or reverting to default. As said above hwinfo would be better, I did that when I swapped my case to monitor temps and had no crashes, it was running for like an hour on RDR2 and then I closed it, I find overlays distracting. I didn't touch GPU tuning in Afterburner tho, did that in Adrenalin (which is a very nice software compared to NVidia crap), only used OSD I'm in the same boat, having a new 7900XTX to replace my 3080īoth seems to be compatible, at least Afterburner overlay work, but with the 7900s it doesn't show much data, you can't even see the power consumption, so I switched to Adrenalin, but this one has way less CPU data available. I know adrenaline also has in-game overlay, but since I can't seem to find a way to customize the overlay content, it won't do for me. Will afterburner conflict with adrenaline and fight to reset my gpu tuning? Can I use both app at the same time, or better yet, disable the afterburner functions about tuning and fan curve control? In AMD Software, click on Record & Stream from the top menu. To launch the setup wizard in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition, follow these steps: From the Taskbar, click on Start (Windows icon), type AMD Software, and select the app under best match. Literally tonight everything worked perfectly. Use the setup wizard to quickly configure common settings for broadcasting content online. ![]() The fan curve is bugged, and weird crashing happening. I already had about the same problem, but in that case, AMD adrenaline did not work even on the desktop, I managed to solve it using the register editor, removing the CNVersion value. However, I noticed so weird behavior for using both app in the same time, even though I set everything to default on afterburner, and just set tuning with adrenaline. Since I bought the 7900xtx, I heard that adrenaline is better for overclock and undervolt amd GPU, so I tried using it for tuning, and kept the afterburner for in-game overlay. At the right top corner go to Settings » General and set Show Metrics Overlay On. I came from RTX 3070, so I'm used to using afterburner for both overclocking and in-game RTSS overlay. At the right top corner go to Settings » Hotkeys check or set the Toggle Performance Overlay hotkey different than default.
